My bathroom
What got done:
The bathroom. Sort of.
This one has a long backstory so buckle up. Or don't. I can't tell you what to do. ;P
A month or so ago, we received a series of emails (at least two) stating that someone would be coming by to locate our electric panel. This was after asking us to send them pictures and tell them where it's located. Thursday or Friday, someone from a contracting company came by telling me that Tuesday or Thursday of this week workers would be coming by to move my panel because the new code says it cannot be in the bathroom (it is nowhere near the shower/tub/sink so in no danger of getting wet).
I told him that's fine. So long as they come after 5pm because I work from home and cannot be without power for the two plus hours they'll need to move it. He said that if the office was okay with that, then that was fine. I explained that I will get in trouble if I'm offline for two plus hours as I never know when I'll be called into a meeting (little white lie but I DO NOT want my work day interrupted). I also suggested they come on Saturday as I will be out all day. He stated they only work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I informed him that if the workers arrive before 5pm, they will be denied entrance as I will be working. I live here and it's MY work day they will be interrupting so my schedule takes preference over that of the office.
The reason this is an issue now is that we found out last Monday that our complex had been sold to a new management company. I'm gathering the sale was contingent on the new company getting everything up to code. But I feel like occupied units should be exempt from this as this is a HUGE disruption to the tenant's day.
So, I started cleaning my bathroom Friday night. I did the toilet, the little cabinet I have next to the toilet, the counter/sinks, and the mirror over the counter. I also threw my bath rugs into the washer. I planned on doing the shower and tub the next morning, but when I woke up, my body was like 'nope, not doing that'. I DID sweep and vacuum to floor but only because I didn't want to put clean rugs on a dirty floor (plus it really needed it).
I forgot to take my glucose and blood pressure yesterday which is why this is a day late.
