My daughter recently asked me if I still have the complete Stargate series on DVD. My first reaction was to scoff and ask if she's ever met me. But since she asked me over text, she doesn't know this. I said I do and asked why she wanted to know. She said that her and her husband were thinking of watching them. I told her that both series are streaming on Prime but if she wanted to watch the DVD extras, I could lend them my DVDs. I'm kinda surprised she asked to borrow my DVDs because that means they'd have to get up and change the DVD after every four episodes. I haven't asked if they've started watching them or not and she hasn't asked about them again.
I have one episode of SG-1 and three or four of SGA that I skip every time I do a rewatch. Should I warn my daughter about these episodes?

Date: 2025-04-04 12:06 pm (UTC)My daughter and I share similar tastes most of the time, but I know she won't see the McShep in SGA, will most likely see the whatever it is people see between Jack and Sam (I've always seen it more with Daniel but I am a slasher at heart) in SG-1, and will like McKeller. *gag* And yes, all four (yes, I went and looked because I honestly couldn't remember) of the episodes I hate in SGA are Keller centric.
