Feb. 7th, 2025 07:22 amI had two weird 'dreams'. I know they weren't connected and dreams is in quote marks because the first one wasn't really a dream.
The first one was more like an image. There was a room that had a glass door that locked, a loft bed, a toilet/sink in one corner and an emergency door on the back wall. I remember thinking, 'why is there an emergency door in a prison cell? can't the prisoner just open the door and leave?'
The other one I was working in an office in a cubicle. I was shutting down for the day and had trouble seeing my desk (the walls of the cubes were all the way to the ceiling so it was more like an office with no door or window) and asked someone to turn on my desk light for me (there was a switch on the outside of the cube) because they were standing there chatting with me. Then when they walked away, I noticed a pull chain for the light.
While I was shutting my computer down, I told myself I needed to set my out of office message because I had the next day off and I needed to pass on the work I had that needed to be completed by a certain time the next day.
Then I was in the house I shared with someone other woman (it was super cute and was in a little community of other little houses that surrounded a green space). I was getting up to start my day when I remembered I forgot to set my out of office message and pass on my work. I started to brush my teeth then stopped because I hadn't had breakfast yet. When I opened a door to go to the kitchen, I found myself in my manager's cube. When she asked why I was there, I told her about forgetting the message and passing on my work. She said, 'this is why we need people to not call off'. I started to say that my throat was scratchy, then remembered I had asked for the day off and reminded her of that.
I opened the door to leave and found myself back in my house. I even said something to the effect of, 'this is how it works because I control this corner of the world'.
I don't think I mentioned that I had to move the money I had saved over to my checking in order to pay rent this month, but I did. Yesterday when I got paid, I was able to move $300 back (the $100 I move every week plus $200 of the $500 I need to pay back). I plan on moving at least the same amount next week. I'm hoping I can move $400 so that I will have what I should have if I hadn't had to move the money in order to pay rent.
