Snowflake Challenge Day Four
Jan. 7th, 2020 11:47 amToday's challenge is to talk about goals for the coming year.
I don't normally make resolutions or anything like that because I never keep them. But I'm going to give it a try this year because I have things I need to get done.
I am a horrible housekeeper, I think it's due to two things: my mother is so type A that she would go behind me and reclean when I was a kid instead of showing me the proper way to do it and I'm probably a low level hoarder. I say low level because I can, and do, throw things away without thinking about it much.
So, my goal is to get my shit together in regards to my housekeeping. I HAVE to move next year so I have roughly fifty weeks to get this shit hole clean.
My plan is to start with one room each Saturday, with the exception of the living room because the dust is so thick it'll most likely take several weeks to properly clean it. And once I stop cleaning for the day, go through all the boxes that are still unpacked from when I moved in back in 2015.
And to stay on top of my finances. I've done fairly well with my bank account, not counting when my daughter and I went on vacation back in September which I've just now recovered financially from.
Since the main reason I need to build up my bank account (as in have more than a couple hundred left after bills) is because wherever I move to next year, the rent (plus utilities) will be, at the very least, $100 more than what I pay now for rent plus utilities.
