Last week an email was sent around looking for someone to take the finance assistant’s position that became available when my co-worker quit and I expressed my interest.
Today just before I was to leave my new supervisor called me into his office to tell me that another employee is being given the job (which makes no sense because she’s never done finance). He said that there were two things keeping me from getting it: how behind I am (excuse the fuck outta me for getting a life threatening illness) and that I fell asleep at my desk again (bullshit I haven’t fallen asleep in weeks).
Jut now I was looking on one of the job boards I’m on and found a posting for my job!!!!!
I am panicking big time! Anyone in the North Dallas/Carrollton/Lewisville/Addison/Frisco/The Colony/Plano/Coppell area know of any jobs that pay at least $13/hr? Please help. I’ve applied to numerous jobs but I’m not getting any interviews. I can’t afford to be unemployed.
