This is going to be a rather long post so things will be under cuts.

Last Friday or Saturday I realized that my auto insurance hadn't been deducted from my checking account. So I went to the website and discovered that my autopay had been canceled and so I hadn't made a payment for two months.

And yes, they canceled my policy. At first I thought I hadn't had insurance for two months but later found out it had only been a few days.

When I found out my policy was canceled, I sent them an email requesting them to contact me. I told myself that if I hadn't heard from them by early afternoon on Monday (I discovered all this after hours) then I would call them.

Well, Monday morning it was pouring rain and I did not want to get wet getting in and out of the car to do my laundry so I called my mother and asked to do laundry at her house. By doing this I only had to get wet once: from my apartment to the car because my parents have a cover on their driveway.

When I arrived my mother told me she needs to take my grandniece to school (I'm still confused as to why because my niece is always insisting she do everything herself including taking her daughter to school) and since I was parked behind her she needed to drive my car. I handed over the keys and informed her of the lack of auto insurance.

She was outraged on my behalf even though we didn't know why my autopay had been canceled.

I decided to go ahead and call them myself instead of waiting for them. The agent I originally spoke to could not reinstate my policy so I had to wait for someone to call me back.

I was told I needed to pay $167.16 because of late fees. I only had $160. They were nice enough to let me pay that because I promised to pay the remaining $7.16 when I get paid next.

I had forgotten that I have set up for money to transfer from my checking to my savings so I had to put $20 cash that I had in my pocket into my account. And then I went ahead and paid the remaining amount.

So, the reason my autopay was canceled is because in October I had forgotten that I had set up autopay and paid it manually. Once I realized this, I called the bank to have them reverse one of the payments. But what they actually did was reverse BOTH payments.

According to the agent someone called me on 10/28 but I didn't receive a call from them (unless it wasn't from their 800 number which I have programed into my phone).

I am so proud of myself for doing this. I was calm during the whole phone call but my mother was not. She kept saying someone owes me money. I had to tell her that it was technically my fault because of the double payment.

It is now far enough into the current TV season for me to do my reviews of returning favorites and which new shows I'm enjoying. The easiest way of doing this is by day of the week.

Monday:
7:00
Kevin Can Wait - Kevin James is a retired NYC police officer. His oldest daughter has dropped out of college to support her 'inventor' boyfriend who is a huge nerd and not the type of man he ever thought she'd go for.

It's entertaining enough that I'm still watching it.

Supergirl - I was surprised that CBS had this for it's first season so I'm glad it's finally on The CW where it belongs with The Flash, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Some people don't like it but I do.

7:30
Man With a Plan - Matt LeBlanc plays a man's man whose wife has decided to go back to work forcing him to be a more involved father to their three children.

I actually laugh out loud at times. This show makes me wonder what kind of father Matt would be.

8:00
Lucifer - Lucifer Morningstar has run away from Hell and is living in LA as a night club owner. He is living a rather bored life until he meets a detective who turns his world upside down.

I didn't think I'd like this one as much as I do because the detective is played by Lauren German (she played Lori Weston on H50 and I HATED her and I had to stop watching Chicago Fire because of her). I don't know what it is, maybe because she actually seems to have chemistry with the guy playing Lucifer but I love this show.

Teen Mom OG/2 - Four girls from MTV's Sixteen and Pregnant allow cameras to follow them as they navigate the trials of raising their children.

I'm owning that I watch this. I didn't watch it when it first aired but I have since started watching. I have my favorites and ones I can't stand:
OG - Faves: Maci and Cate. Can't stand: Farrah (girl did porn and refused to admit it).
TM2 - Faves: Chelsea. Can't stand: I get tired of Janelle screwing up her life by refusing to be alone (she seems to be one of those women who thinks they HAVE to have a man to be complete). And Leah had problems with prescription drugs but refused to admit it even though she went to rehab (she claimed it was for exhaustion).

9:00
Timeless - A man steals a time machine and the agency that built it sends a team after him to stop him from ruining the present.

It's great for people who are even slightly into history.

Conviction - Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) is a former President's daughter who was arrested for cocaine possession but is allowed to go free if she heads up a task force designed to review convictions and find the truth.

Everyone says they aren't looking for innocent people but so far every case has been a wrongful conviction. Despite that I am really liking it. Of course the fact that Eddie Cahill has aged really nicely may have something to do with it (the man looks beyond yummy with grey hair).

Tuesday
7:00
NCIS - I'm still not a fan of Bishop (she annoys me) but I like the two new agents. They have me watching when this time last year I was thinking of not watching anymore (yes, because of Bishop).

The Flash - I've watched this since day one and it is still entertaining. Although I really want to slap Barry for trying to change the past and save his mother.

7:30
The American Housewife - A middle class family lives in a rich suburb because their youngest has special needs and the local public school has the best special needs teacher.

The mom is played by the actress who played Victoria on Mike and Molly.

8:00
Bull - Michael Weatherly plays a jury consultant (based on the early career of Dr. Phil).

This is the Tony DiNozzo I fell in love with. Michael knows how to play it so that people underestimate him.

This is Us - The lives of three people who share a birthday.

The twist at the end of the first episode is a jaw dropper. I identify with Kate, although she is heavier than I am.

Dance Moms - Follows the dancers from the Abby Lee Dance Company.

Again, I'm owning that I watch this. The girls are hella talented. As the show has gone on Abby has gotten crazier but it is still an enjoyable show.

Teen Wolf - A teen boy is bitten by something and ends up becoming a werewolf.

I wasn't sure what this show would be like when it first came on so I forbade my daughter to watch it, but she watched it anyway. I binge watched the first three seasons in about six weeks in order to start watching it after seeing it all over the place on Tumblr.

9:00
Chicago Fire - Follows one firehouse in Chicago.

I tried watching the first season but had to stop because I could not stand Lauren German's character. Once she left, I started watching again.

Ink Master - Competition to see who the best tattoo artist is.

I play a game every episode to see if I can read Dave Navarro's shirt and if he has any new tattoos. And it's funny how bitchy men are.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to continue watching this because I'm over Daisy thinking she has to save the world on her own. Also, whenever a new Marvel movie comes out they make spoiler references in the very next episode.

Shooter - Based on the movie with Mark Wahlberg. A Marine sniper is framed for shooting the President of Ukraine.

Ryan Phillippe plays the main role. I'm not sure if I've ever seen Ryan in anything before which is a shame because he's a good actor.

Adam Ruins Everything - I've learned a lot from this show.

Wednesday
7:00
Lethal Weapon - Based on the movie series with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.

It stars Damon Wayans as Roger Murtaugh and Clayne Crawford as Martin Riggs. I am loving this show. Crawford's Riggs is so very broken in ways that Gibson's isn't. But he is slowly healing.

Arrow - I actually stopped watching during the third season but started again over the summer.

8:00
Law & Order: SVU - I have only watched an episode here and there until last season.

Frequency - Based on the movie.

There are some definite differences but that's what makes it good.

Criminal Minds - Started watching during the third season, I think. Not sure how much longer I'll watch because Thomas Gibson was fired but Adam Rodriguez has joined the cast so.

Modern Family - Another show I didn't start watching until it had been on for a while.

9:00
Chicago PD - Follows police officers at the 21st precinct in Chicago.

The first season or two had me thinking that the head of the intelligence unit had been sent to prison in order to set up a sting to catch corrupt cops but I don't recall ever seeing that play out.

Code Black - Follows doctors and medical students at LA's Angel's Memorial Hospital where they have a code black (more patients than resources) multiple times a day.

Marcia Gay Harden plays the head of the ER and Luis Guzmán plays 'Mama' the head nurse.

Incorporated - Has only had one episode so far but it is very interesting.

Younger - Still can't believe that people look at Sutton Foster and think she's twenty-six when she looks her age which is over forty.

Thursday
7:00
Rosewood - Morris Chestnut is incredibly yummy.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow - It's sad that Arthur Darvill is no longer on the show but still enjoyable.

The Big Bang Theory - Rumor has it that next season will be the last one.

7:30
The Great Outdoors - I have been in love with Joel McHale since he was the host of The Soup.

8:00
Pitch - The San Diego Padres call up the first woman to pitch in the major league.

It's great to see Mark-Paul Gosselaar on TV again. Just wish he'd lose the fucking beard.

Supernatural - How much longer can this show go on? I'm sure the boys (Jared and Jensen) have to be getting tired of doing it (and living away from their families) by now.

Project Runway - I really only watch to see the runway show.

9:00
Chicago PD - Follows the doctors and medical students at a Chicago hospital.

I was rooting for Will and Nat to get together but they seem happy with the people they are seeing.

Notorious - Not sure I'm going to keep watching past learning who the killer is.

Pure Genius - Medical dramas tend to be hit or miss for me. Right now this one is a hit.

Friday
7:00
MacGyver - A reboot of the show. I'm only still watching because of George Eads.

7:30
Dr. Ken - I have a few laugh out loud moments.

8:00
Hawaii Five-0 - Not really liking this season because there isn't enough Scott Caan. I really wish he would just ask to be let out of his contract since he hates Hawai'i so much. I'd rather him not be in any episodes than in just a few each season.

9:00
Tanked - Follows a family of fish tank builders from Las Vegas.

Saturday

This is the one night of the week where I don't really watch anything. There are a few channels that will occasionally have a movie (romantic comedies mostly) that I'll watch.

Sunday
6:00
America's Funniest Home Videos - I remember when this show first aired. I haven't watched it in years but over the summer ABC rebooted some game shows and I watched those and always caught the final minutes of AFV so decided to start watching it again.

7:00
The Librarians - Based on the TV movies.

I have two words for why I watch this: Christian Kane.

Sister Wives - I watched the first episode and decided that Kody was the world's biggest dick and I refused to watch it after that. Until I saw a commercial that caught my interest and I've been watching ever since. Although, Kody is still a huge dick.
