Snowflake Challenge Day Four and Five

Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of "I did it!"
It doesn't have to be anything complex - it can be feedback for a fanwork or discussing something you might have in common or even simply admiring their icon. The point is to reach out to someone you normally wouldn't and connect with them, even if it's only for the briefest moment.
I always have difficulty doing this one and this year is no different. I'm skipping this one.
Day 5
In your own space, talk about your fannish origin story. How did you come to fandom, why did you choose your fannish name, do you have more than one secret identity?
I usually say that my first fandom was The X-men but I really wasn't in that fandom, I sorta read the comics after my brother was done with them.
My actual first fandom is Farscape. Although I didn't get into the fandom stuff until Skiffy premiered The Invisible Man. Skiffy had a forum for each show and I joined to talk with fellow fans. It was a blast.
I chose my name because my first fandom crush is Logan aka Wolverine and I picked the name in 2001. When I chose the name someone else already had it and one of the suggestions was logans_girl2001 so I took it not knowing I could have picked any number to make it unique.
At first I didn't mind if people knew my real life name but as I've started writing (especially slash) I've come to realize that it is definitely something that needs to be kept secret because it could harm my career.
