logans_girl2001This is a movie I only half wanted to see back when it first came out, and only because of Sean Connery and Shane West.
At first I had trouble getting past the automatic rifles, tanks and even an automobile until I read the Wikipedia page for the film and discovered it's supposed to be an alternate universe where those things were possible in Victorian times.
I found myself watching the movie quite a bit, not as much as with The Notebook but still more than I usually do.
I've never read the comics, never having actually been that into them as a kid, so I didn't know much about it. Sometimes that's a good thing, and sometimes it's not. And this is one of those times when it wasn't a good thing. I had to Google Sean's character because I'd never heard of him before.
This is not a movie I care to see again, as much as I love Sean Connery and Shane West, they are not enough to make this enjoyable for me.
