What the hell is going on?

logans_girl2001I have direct deposit and my check is usually available on Thursday (we get paid every Friday). There was one week recently where the deposit hadn't posted until after 6am (it used to be there around 4am). But it's not in my account yet!
When I first checked this morning, my first thought was that I didn't submit my timesheet (we have to manually submit them each Monday). But I did and can even see my check stub so I know how much will be deposited.
Why is my check not in my account!? I have bills that will post within the next few days and I need food!
This has never happened in the six or seven years I've had this account.
Is it possible my bank has decided to stop posting direct deposits a day early?
