I have an original story I'm working on. When I started writing it, I pictured Alex O'Loughlin as the male lead with Scott Caan as his best friend/accountant, Joe Flanigan as the female lead's therapist and David Hewlett as another character (to reveal who would spoil the story).
In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, wild times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone.
I think I mentioned one of my favorite memories in a previous year. But since I can't be sure, I'm mentioning it again.
I got into active fandom in the early 2000s, it's why my username has 2001 in it. I was having a horrible day at work and when I complained to the Yahoo Group I belonged to, one of the fandom's BNFs wrote me a little pick-me-up. I still have it, safe and secure on an external hard drive.
Any time anyone comments that they loved a story I wrote (especially if they tell me why). One of the ones I truly cherish is when the commenter told me that I won the internet! I even had someone tell me they want to have my babies! *giggle, snort*
There's a Teen Wolf story that made me like one of my least favorite characters, and I told the writer that. It truly surprised me just how much I enjoyed their portrayal of him.
