(no subject)

Yesterday my parents and daughter stopped by to bring me my Mother's Day present. I knew it was a portrait from her wedding day. I thought it would be one of her and my son-in-law (hoping it was my favorite of them at the alter right after being declared married), so imagine my surprise (and utter delight) to discover that it is one of the two of us! I will not be posting a picture of it out of respect for her privacy.

I had my dad hang it over my fireplace which means I had to move the painting she made for me years ago. I decided to hang it in my bedroom since the only thing hanging on my wall is a calendar.

My dad also brought me a set of wireless headphones because the ones I got from my company are so old the padding is coming off. Only thing I don't like about them is the microphone is on the right and I prefer it on the left.
