One of the things I do at work is email my stores when they haven’t put their deposit amounts into the computer. In the past they were not supposed to enter them until they returned from the bank. A couple of months ago that policy changed and they are not supposed to enter the amounts every morning once they have verified the amount.

When they don’t enter the amount on time (I email them Tuesday afternoons so they should have all amounts entered through Monday) I send them this email:

As of 12:00pm (CST) today, the following deposits have not been entered into the store web:

9/5
9/6
9/7
9/8

Since you are now supposed to enter each day's deposit in the morning when you review your paperwork, all deposits through Monday should be entered no later than before you open on Tuesday. Please have these deposits entered by end of day today. If there are any days that do not have a deposit, or if there are any issues, please let me know.

I’m sure you guess how many emails/phone calls I receive stating that they don’t go to the bank until late Tuesday/later in the week.

This just proves that people do not read. Not even important emails about their job. It just frustrates me to no end.

And before you ask, yes they were notified when the change was made. In our monthly news letter, which I guess they also don’t read.
