Three things

logans_girl2001My new job is data entry for a gasoline consignment company. Basically we purchase gasoline at a deep discount and sell it to small gas stations. What I do, specifically, is enter the fuel sales from each of the stations we sell to.
There are five of us on the team with me being the newest. The others have been with the company for several months and yet I'm the one with the best numbers (I'm not trying to brag, it's fact). What I mean is one of the ladies who has been there the longest is the furthest behind, nearly 200 days (or reports).
What I can't wrap my head around is how she can be that far behind when she's been doing it for so long.
Last Thursday she was out so I keyed some of her sites. She said she was missing paperwork for a lot of them (the way the system works is you can't skip any days so if you're missing one (say 12/14) you can't key any others you might have) but I found them in the sites' folders (they email their paperwork everyday) and the date on the email was when they were supposed to send it in.
I'm thinking she's just pretending to work and is saying that she's missing paperwork to avoid getting in trouble for being so far behind. Only thing is I can't prove it. If she is doing that then she will be caught eventually.
On a different note, I have some good news.
My mother texted me and called my daughter asking us to come over so that my dad could discuss a solution for getting her back to school.
Vic has been trying really hard to get herself a loan but everyone she asked to co-sign were declined. My dad said that my parents are going to give her the full amount she owes ~$1700 (my mother kept saying $12000 that's why I was saying that but Vic was looking for $1200). Dad asked why I didn't try to co-sign and I said I didn't think I would be approved when my real reason is that I wanted her to learn a lesson about responsibility because it's her own fault she lost her scholarship and was kicked out of school. But I understand why they're doing this; it's midyear and isn't really a good time for her to not be able to go back.
And I must say I'm glad they're doing this because I need my privacy back. I'm tired of sleeping with my door closed, my room gets really cold at night with the door closed. And I'm tired of her eating all my food and drinking all my sodas and milk. And I'm just ready to be alone again.
And on yet another note... I really hate being an adult.
Back on December 12 my company had it's Christmas party. Vic and I had some errands to run before it. I went to get gas and I pulled out in front of a car that was way too close for me to do that. Then when I got on the toll road (not sure why I got on that road as it doesn't go anywhere near where I wanted to go) the front passenger tire began making the thump-thump-thump of a flat tire but it wasn't driving like it was flat. I exited thinking it was the fact that I was going seventy mph but could still hear the noise. I pulled over to look and of course none of the tires was flat.
I called my dad and he agreed that none were flat and he had no explanation as to why it was making that sound. I tried to carry on but couldn't stand it and went to Walmart to have the oil changed (it was way past due and the tire pressure warning light was on). Unfortunately having fully aired tires didn't stop the noise.
It still makes it periodically when I'm driving. It also will sometimes make a horrible grinding noise (this also started on the 12th) when I turn left almost like something is rubbing.
I'm afraid it's the U-joint which can get expensive.
All this means I have to use my income tax check (if I even get one this year) to pay to have the front alignment done, have the tires balanced and rotated and get the engine tuned. I really hate having to wait because from what I understand the longer I let it go the worse it could get.
