logans_girl2001So Vic and I went to see the Avengers movie last night. Beyond excellent. A definite must see.
Anyway, Vic said something during the movie that had me swallowing a laugh because it wasn't during a funny part of the movie. I'm putting it under the cut just to be on the safe side of spoilers.
During the big fight scene at the end, Hawkeye runs out of arrows and Vic leaned over and whispered, "Dear Haymitch, please send more arrows. Love, Katniss." It was just so perfect, and made us both want to go see The Hunger Games again.
Something I don't understand about people is how some can arrive late, like more than thirty minutes, and yet still buy the ticket. Why not just wait until the next showing? Also, why someone would keep texting even after getting death glares from everyone around them. And the talking! Sure I talk some during a movie, but I lean into the person I'm talking to and whisper in their ear but these people were having a conversation that had nothing to do with the movie, and all my comments are about what just happened on screen. These people were talking so much that another patron got up, walked over to them (we went to a Studio Movie Grill) and said, "Get quiet or get out!" That shut them up.
