Snowflake Challenge Day Twelve
What makes you fannish? And by that we mean, what is it about a tv show/movie/book/band/podcast/etc that takes you from, "Yeah, I like that," to "I need MOAR!!!" Is it a character? A plotline? The pretty? Subtext that’s just screaming to be acknowledged?
In your own space, tell us what it is that gets you to cross that line into fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I don't consider myself a part of fandom unless I read and/or write fanfiction for it and if I follow a blog (on Tumblr or LiveJournal). I can't explain what makes me go looking for fic or a blog for a particular show. Or even why I'll get ideas for stories for some shows but not others. All I know is I love when a new story grabs a hold of me until I write it all down. And then the anxiety of posting... While nerve wracking, it can be exhilarating and wonderful.
